JAIG: Journal of Artificial Intelligence Governance is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on the governance, regulation, accountability, and responsible development of artificial intelligence systems. The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and technology developers to examine how AI can be designed, deployed, monitored, and evaluated according to ethical, legal, social, and institutional principles.
The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic literature reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, policy analyses, and methodological contributions related to artificial intelligence governance. The scope includes responsible AI, algorithmic accountability, AI ethics, regulatory frameworks, explainable AI, trustworthy AI, risk-based AI governance, human-centered AI, AI safety, data governance, digital policy, public-sector AI, enterprise AI governance, and socio-technical implications of automated decision-making systems.
JAIG encourages interdisciplinary contributions from computer science, information systems, law, public policy, management, social science, philosophy, and related fields. The journal particularly emphasizes research that connects technical AI development with governance mechanisms, including transparency, fairness, privacy, auditability, compliance, institutional responsibility, and the practical implementation of AI governance frameworks in real-world environments.
As part of its commitment to academic quality, submitted manuscripts must present clear research problems, rigorous methods, relevant literature, strong analytical discussion, and meaningful contributions to the advancement of artificial intelligence governance. All submissions are initially screened by the editorial team and subsequently reviewed by qualified reviewers according to the journal's peer-review policy.
